1988 Started as Machine Tools division of Samsung Heavy Industries
1989 Technical License agreement with OKK
1991 Technical License agreement with Mori Seiki
1996 Technical License agreement with Toshiba
1999 Spun out from Samsung Aerospace division and established CMEC Co., LTD
